Donna,
I love the way this one turned out! Bravo, especially with the combination of metal and glass, and let's not forget the tassel ((wonderful)).

Sincerely,
Emil

Hi Ronell,

I appreciate your stopping by to say hi! It's always so nice to hear from 'blogging' friends. I know it's been a while since I've posted.

This spring the garden has beckoned me to spend much of my time-redesigning, weeding, mulching, cultivating, planting, and just enjoying the 'labors of love' that a perennial garden requires. Last summer I neglected it and fell so far behind in the care and maintenance of it that it became lost in a sea of weeds.

I visited your blog today and love the red poppies! So wonderfully vivid and cheerful. The photos and paintings are lovely.

I can't wait to get back to the easel though--so I should hopefully post something soon. Ronell, I always appreciate your thoughtfulness!

I was especially drawn to this one as I love old books.
