I like your composition, the angularity against the shapes of the mannequin,the repeated slopes of the girls neck and the mannequin's neck. And the negative spaces.
Hi Cindy....the mannequin has been standing in that corner of the studio with the Vermeer poster in the background for almost three years and I have always found it an appealing subject as an interior.

Thank you Sheila for noticing this....I hadn't consciously considered the contrast before you mentioned this.... Also, I am really enjoying your series of recent paintings. Capturing the fleeting moments of passerbys on a busy street is really very interesting. Good to hear from you!

This one is quite myserious d. I love the quiet colours and the juxtaposition of modern and old. It's mesmerising.
