Painted Floor
Thought I'd share with you an example of other projects that draw me away from the easel for a bit. It's amazing what a can of paint can do! This is the entry foyer of our small farmhouse; the original part of the house was built in the late 1700s.
I recently painted the floor (not original to the house; installed around the 80s-I think?) The floor was a walnut color which was dark for a room that doesn't get much light. The pattern and light colors really brightened up the area a lot.
We are so happy with the huge difference it has made!
